PowWeb is not only a member of Dun and Bradstreet, but also the Better Business Bureau. Thus, their reliability has to be in par with other leading web hosting firms or else, their membership with the BBB would be gone. It is amazing to see how such a company giving away so many features is able to do so much.
Customers whose sites were hosted by PowWeb were noticeably slow during peak hours of the day. This is a major flaw because customers access business websites during this time, and a slow site means lost sales.
PowWeb also has a strange email policy in place. They have an email send limit of 200 emails sent per hour and they do not allow more than 2000 emails per day. So if you have a large mailing list, notification list, or other lists requiring more than this, we strongly suggest looking elsewhere for hosting.

In general, PowWeb is a mediocre web hosting company. They have everything you would expect to get from a web hosting company, but that is all.
